Counters settings

Where Dexy puts the channel when it makes a new counter, or remakes one you turn back on.

• 📊 Server Stats — the category quick setup makes; before that, the top of the channel list
• A category — one of your categories, picked below
• No category — the top of the channel list

Counters that already exist stay where they are, and category counters are never inside a category. If the category is deleted, new counters go to the top. Same as counter settings place.

Members can see a locked counter but can't join it (voice) or post in it (text).

• On — Dexy locks new voice and text counters
• Off — new counters keep their category's permissions

Locking needs Dexy to have Manage Roles. Link and category counters have nothing to lock. Counters made before keep their permissions.

The channel type a new counter starts as here, and the one Dexy lists first when a command asks.

• Voice — members see it but can't join (recommended)
• Text — read-only; Discord writes text channel names in lowercase with dashesread-only; Fluxer writes text names in lowercase with dashes unless the server allows flexible names
• Link — opens a link when clicked
• Category — a category named after the counter

Commands still ask with reactions, or take --voice, --text, --link or --category.

A value's own Short or Full option (|short, |full) always wins. Every counter changes at its next update.
