Log channels log_channels#
Category or event -> channel.

A log channel for each event log_per_event#
Whether each event can be posted to a channel of its own.
- Off — one channel per category: every message event goes to the Messages channel, and so on
- On — pick a channel for any event; events without one use their category's channel (or aren't logged if it has none)
Turning it off keeps the events' channels, so turning it back on brings them back. Message text is only posted to your own log channels; Dexy keeps recent messages in memory for an hour to show edits and never saves them.

Avatars on join and leave logs log_show_avatars#
Whether join and leave posts show the member's avatar.
- On — a small avatar next to their name, and a bigger one beside the post

Whether leave posts list the roles the member had when they left.

New account age (logs) log_new_account_days#
Joins from accounts younger than this get ⚠️ new account in the join log, to spot raids and alt accounts.
0 never flags anyone. Up to 365 days.

Channels left out of logs log_ignore_channels#
Nothing that happens in these channels is posted: messages, voice, and changes to the channel itself. A category covers every channel in it.
Bans, unbans and kicks are always posted.

Roles left out of logs log_ignore_roles#
Deleted and edited messages of members with any of these roles aren't logged, for example a staff role.

Leave bots out of logs log_ignore_bots#
Bots post and edit a lot. On, their messages and voice aren't logged.

- Off — they're logged like anyone else's
Dexy's own messages are never logged. Bots joining or leaving the server are always posted.
