Trading and gifts

Give goods to another member, or open a trade window where you both add goods and coins, both confirm, and everything moves at once.

Goods move between members: catch, materials, crops, seeds and valuables. Tools, cosmetics and utility items stay with their owner. Coins are given with d!eco give (see Giving coins), or put into a trade.

Gifts#

d!eco gift @Orion silver perch gives one; add how many, or all: d!eco gift @Orion ruby 2. Item names are matched forgivingly. Gifts worth 500 coins or more at the shop ask you to confirm first. Gifts can't be undone.

The confirm has a Give button; the result shows in the same message. Item names autocomplete from your goods.

The confirm asks with ✅ and ❌ for 60 seconds. ✅ gives it; ❌ or no answer keeps it. gift works as a short name with your prefix.

Trades#

A trade is a window you both edit: each of you puts goods and coins in, both confirm, and then everything moves at once, or nothing does.

Open one: d!eco trade @Orion. Each member has one open trade at a time.
Add goods: d!eco trade add ruby 2 (all for every one you have), take them back with d!eco trade remove ruby.
Add coins: d!eco trade coins 500 (d!eco trade coins 0 takes them out).
Confirm: d!eco trade confirm. When the other member confirms too, the trade goes through.

Any change clears both confirmations, so each of you confirms exactly the offer you see. If something is missing when the trade goes through (someone spent the coins or sold the goods meanwhile), nothing moves and the window says why. d!eco trade cancel closes it, and a window nobody changes for 5 minutes expires. d!eco trade alone shows your open trade again.

Limits#

Trades and gifts share two daily limits, counted at the goods' sell price plus coins: you can send 3,000 a day, more as your play tier grows (up to 20,000; see Tiers), and receive 25,000 a day. They reset at midnight UTC.
Not with bots, not with yourself, and not while either member is timed out (a trade waits until the time-out ends).
Every trade and gift shows in d!eco transactions for both members.
