Your Dexy on the web
The shop's four storefronts on the website (profile, activity and Dexy cards, play) and your own page there: wallet, cards, inventory, collections, quests, history.
Dexy's economy lives in chat, and two parts of it are on the website too: the shop at dexy.gg/shop, which anyone can browse, and Your Dexy at dexy.gg/me, your own page once you log in. Both talk to the Dexy of the platform you logged in with, so what you see and do there is exactly what the commands see and do: the same wallet, the same purchase, the same quest claim, written to the same ledger (noted "website").
Nothing on the web can gather, craft, farm or trade for you: those stay in chat. The web is for looking, dressing your card, buying, selling, using items and claiming what you've finished.
The shop#
The shop is sorted by what each thing is for, in four storefronts, one per card and one for play; the front page shows the four with a picture of the card (or the kit) their items change, one line on each, and a search over the whole shop (a result opens the storefront on that item). A segmented control at the top of every shop page switches between them.
- Profile card is the art behind the profile card
d!eco profileshows: the backgrounds, the Classic collection, each shown on the profile card itself. - Activity card dresses the activity card
d!eco activityshows, in four sections: activity graphs (the art behind the graph: the ten drawn for Dexy), accent colours (the colour of the graph and the highlights, so an accent changes this card too), badges (a small mark by your name) and titles (a line under it), each shown on the activity card. - Dexy card is the face of your Dexy card, the one
d!eco balanceshows: the wallet cards. - Play is the gear: tools for fishing, hunting and mining (by what they're for, with grade, uses and how many you can own), seeds for your farm (what each grows, how many, in how long, what each crop sells for and what a plot comes to) and utility items (what each does and how many you can hold), each in a comparison table.
Every section shows the thing itself: a background, activity graph or wallet card tile is the art, with no card over it; an accent is its colour; a badge is its mark and a title the line as the card writes it. The pieces drawn for Dexy come first and the Classic collection follows under its own heading, each group with its price ladder. Press a tile and the stage beside the sections (above them on a phone) shows that one on the card it goes on, as Dexy draws it, with its details and the buy; point at a tile and the stage peeks at it. Every storefront has a search, the sections as links, and, once you're logged in, a filter for what you own. A kind added to the catalogue lands in its storefront on its own, and the old one-page-per-kind addresses (/shop/backgrounds and the like) lead to the section.
Logged out, the stage shows a sample member's card. Log in (with Discord or Fluxer, the account you play with) and it becomes your own card with the item on, drawn by Dexy exactly as chat would show it: a background on your profile card (d!eco profile), an activity graph, accent, badge or title on your activity card (d!eco activity), a wallet card on your own Dexy card (d!eco balance). Each card is shown at its own shape: the profile card is a portrait, the other two are wide. Buying on the website is the same purchase as d!eco buy: one atomic charge from your wallet, and a cosmetic can go straight on your card. What you own is marked, and what you have on. The Shop menu at the top of the site lists the four storefronts with their art, and your wallet under them.
Your Dexy#
Log in and open your avatar at the top of any page, or Your Dexy in the dashboard's sidebar. The pages:
- Overview: your cards as Dexy draws them (the profile card, the activity card, or the wallet view: your Dexy card as
d!eco balanceshows it, with a refresh), your wallet, bank and net worth, your tier and how far to the next, your daily streak and whether today's reward is in, the weekly, your season points and place, and what's waiting (quests to claim, achievements, sets). - Profile card (see below).
- Inventory: your cosmetics (put on or take off), utility items (use one from here: a Streak shield, a Bank expansion, a Coin boost, a Farm plot, a Bodyguard, a Mending kit, a Lucky tonic), tools with their wear, and goods by kind with what each stack sells for and today's sell bands. You can sell goods here, singly, a few at once or a whole kind, after a confirm that shows what the shop pays right now. It's the same sale as
d!eco sell: the day's bands and the set bonus apply. - Collections: the six sets, how complete each is by rarity, every item found or not, and where a seed in the shop grows a missing crop.
- Quests & badges: today's and this week's quests with their progress, a claim for each finished one (and all at once), your season board place, and every achievement, earned with its date or locked with what's counted toward it.
- History: your ledger, 25 entries a page, filtered by kind.
- Servers: every server you've played in, with your place on its "this server" board, and the way to its dashboard where you can open it.
- Shop: everything you can afford right now and don't have yet, by storefront and section (every classic background and wallet card within reach included), each opening the storefront on that item.
Members who haven't played yet see how to start: a profile is made by the first real economy action in a server where Dexy is (d!eco daily, d!eco work, d!eco fish).
The profile card on the web#
The Profile card page sets the profile card's three personal touches, as d!eco profile about, d!eco profile barcolour and d!eco profile textcolour do, with the same checks: the About me is cleaned of mentions, links and formatting and kept to 150 characters; a colour is a hex code or a palette name; the text colour has to be readable on your current background and the bar colour has to stand out, or the page refuses it and says which colours work. The palette under the text colour only offers colours readable on your background.
It also shows what's on each slot of your cards (background, accent, badge, title, the activity graph behind your activity card, and the wallet card that is your Dexy card's face), with a picker over what you own, and the badge line: the achievement badges your card shows (up to six). They're newest first by default; move them up or down here and the card follows. The card beside the pickers is drawn again after every change: pick an activity graph and it turns to the activity card, pick a wallet card and it turns to the Dexy card, so you see each on the card it goes on.
On Discord the commands are slash commands: /eco profile about, /eco profile barcolour, /eco profile textcolour do the same from chat.
about works as a short name with your prefix: it sets your About me from chat.
Safety#
Everything on your page is yours alone: the website asks Dexy for your profile as you, and Dexy refuses anything about anyone else. Buying, selling, using and claiming go through the same atomic rules as the commands, so nothing can be paid twice or claimed twice, and your card previews are drawn at most 30 times a minute. Logging out ends it all; a login lasts up to a week.
