Economy: the Dexy card, server economies and chance games#
- The Dexy card is redrawn: the wallet card from the shop is the whole face of the card, with the wordmark, your wallet, bank and card number, your avatar, the chip and your start date over it.
- The profile card is two cards:
d!eco profileis the profile card (on a background from the Classic collection) andd!eco activitythe activity card, with an activity graph background of its own: the ten drawn for Dexy moved to that aisle (d!eco shop graph). - The wallet is an image now:
d!eco balancedraws the Dexy card on a wallet card from the shop (eight to buy, Carbon free). The shop's catalogue grew by five Classic sets of finds, ten orchard seeds and a recipe. - A server can turn on a currency of its own with
d!eco server on: points for chat and voice, a server daily, transfers with a tax, a shop of roles, rented roles, items, accolades and titles, goals a live counter can show ({ecogoal:1}) and a treasury. Members used!pts …; adminsd!eco server …. Dexy coins stay global and never convert. - Three chance games against the house, off until a server allows them with
d!eco settings games on:d!coinflip,d!guessandd!slots, the odds in every reply, stakes and daily losses capped. - A member's data deletion removes their server-economy balances too.
2026-10-24#
Economy#
A new module, on by default: the Economy. Every member gets a Dexy profile that follows them to every server: coins in a wallet and a bank, daily and weekly rewards, an hourly shift of work and coins for chatting and voice, a shop of backgrounds, accent colours, badges and titles for a new profile card, and leaderboards of the richest players, everywhere or in your server. Servers choose whether chatting pays and which channels the commands work in (d!eco settings). Everyone starts at zero.
Economy, part two: gathering (fish, hunt and mine with tools that wear out, and a treasure chest every 4 hours), a farm with seeds to plant, water and harvest, crafting (fine tools, more plots, tonics and jewellery), selling goods to the shop, gifts and trades between members, inventory pages, and a classic profile card next to the activity one, with an About me and your own colours (d!eco profile about, d!eco profile barcolour, d!eco profile textcolour).
A member's data deletion (d!privacy delete) now removes their Economy profile too.
The planned Games module is now just minigames: the economy is its own module.
2026-10-23#
A new name#
The bot is now called Dexy, and its prefix is d!: d!help, d!stats and so on. Nothing else changes: your settings, stats, counters, cases and dashboard stay as they were. Servers that never changed the prefix can keep typing the old one for now, and servers with their own prefix keep it. See The prefix.
Restarts#
Dexy now picks up where it left off after a restart, an update or a lost connection:
- Auto Roles: members who join while Dexy is offline get their join roles when it's back (the last 24 hours, up to 100 per server). Join roles waiting to go out when Dexy stops are given after the restart, and temporary roles and delayed roles whose time came meanwhile are handled as soon as the server is back. See Join roles.
- Reaction Roles: each reaction-role message is checked when Dexy is back: deleted messages are posted again, missing reactions put back, deleted emojis flagged, and reactions added meanwhile on verify, drop, binding and locked messages are answered. See Self-healing.
- Welcome: messages set to delete themselves are deleted even if Dexy restarts in between. See The join message.
- Auto-mod: a timed lockdown whose time ran out while Dexy was offline ends as soon as it's back, and so do timeouts and temporary bans on the case list.
- Logging: log entries waiting to be posted go out before Dexy stops.
- Live Counters: a restart no longer renames every counter at once; each keeps to its own schedule.
- Settings changed on the dashboard reach Dexy at once more reliably.
- Stats: members who join or leave while Dexy is offline are counted as joins and leaves once it's back, without late join or leave logs. See The member chart.
Dashboard access#
- Every change on the dashboard checks your permissions again, straight from Fluxer, so a role removed a moment ago already counts. The same goes for moderation actions: Ban Members, Kick Members or Moderate Members, and the role order, are checked for each one.
- Open dashboard pages notice at once when your access changes. If you lost the server, the page says so and sends you back to your servers. If you lost part of it, the page reloads with what you can still open. If you gained access, it refreshes quietly. A save refused this way is never sent again on its own. See If your access changes.
Stats charts#
- The member chart always draws its line: flat between changes and through times Dexy was offline, from when tracking started. A one-hour or one-day view is a proper line, not a lone block.
- With bots left out (the default), the member line counts people only, so it matches the joins and leaves. Count bots shows everyone. See The member chart.
- The status chart leaves the time Dexy was offline blank instead of showing zero, in chat and on the dashboard.
2026-10-21#
Auto Roles#
- New Auto Roles module: roles that hand themselves out. On by default, free, and it hands out nothing until you set something up. See Auto Roles.
- Join roles for new members, right away or after a delay of up to a week (kept through restarts; members who left by then get nothing), each with an optional minimum account age and invites the member must have come in through. Bot roles for bots, and join roles can wait out a raid that Auto-mod reports.
- Sticky roles give members their roles back when they rejoin: every role or chosen ones, with roles that never come back. Roles above Dexy, bots' roles and roles with dangerous permissions never come back unless you allow one by name. Saved roles are forgotten after 90 days (you pick).
- Temporary roles:
d!temprole @member @role 1dgives a role that comes off by itself;d!temprolesand the dashboard list them, with Remove now. - Commands:
d!autoroles(ord!autorole) and its subcommands,d!temproleandd!temproles. New role permissionautoroles(Manage auto & reaction roles on the dashboard), which covers Reaction Roles too; theactivityrolespermission is unchanged.
Reaction Roles#
- New Reaction Roles module, apart from Auto Roles: messages members react to for roles, with its own dashboard page, its own switch and its own commands,
d!rr(ord!reactionroles). On by default, free, and it does nothing until you make one. A server that had switched Auto Roles off finds Reaction Roles off too. See Reaction Roles. - Nine modes (normal, unique, verify, drop, reversed, binding, limit, locked and temporary), roles that may or may not use one, DM confirmations and a cooldown against reaction spam. They put back missing reactions, post themselves again if deleted, and flag deleted emojis, while the module is on.
- A simpler editor: one column, top to bottom: where it goes, the message, an Embed switch that opens the embed builder, the emojis and their roles (Add emoji), the mode with a line on what it does, and who can use it. The live preview stays beside it (under Preview on a phone), and its reactions can be clicked to try the mode. A message Dexy didn't write says so, and its text can't be edited.
- Limits: 3 reaction-role messages per server, each with up to 30 emojis, as many reactions as Fluxer allows on a message. Servers with more from before keep them all; a new one can be made once they're under 3. The page lists them as a table with how many are used.
d!diagand the setup check look at what reaction roles need while the module is on. Try one in your browser on Try Dexy.
Website#
- New Try Dexy page, also on the homepage and on each module's page: live demos in your browser, no login. Type any command and see Dexy's real reply, check a message against sample auto-mod rules (with Dexy's real rule checks), warn a member up the warning ladder and send an appeal, see the post each Logging event makes, write a counter channel name, build an activity role rule, and lay out a welcome image.
Welcome#
- New Welcome module: a join message in a channel you pick, a leave message, and a DM to new members, each with text and an optional embed. Placeholders like
{user},{membercount.ordinal},{inviter.name}and{account.age}are filled in for each member; the invite ones come from exact invite tracking. See Welcome. - Welcome images: a picture with the member's avatar and name, sent with the join message, the leave message or the DM. Lay it out on the dashboard: drag and resize the avatar and text, pick fonts, colours, an overlay and rounded corners, start from a template, and use Dexy's backgrounds, a colour, a gradient or your own upload. Exact preview shows it drawn by Dexy. See The welcome image.
- Messages can delete themselves after a while, ping only the member, and skip bots. DMs that can't be delivered are counted on the Overview, and floods of joins are kept in check.
- Off by default, free, and nothing is sent until a message has a channel. Commands:
d!welcomeand its subcommands;d!diagchecks Welcome's channels too. - Richer messages: the join, leave and DM messages each take up to five embeds, with an author and its icon, a title with a link, text, up to 25 fields (side by side or full width), a thumbnail, a big image, a footer with an icon, and the time. The text can be up to 4,000 characters, and buttons over the text boxes add Fluxer's formatting: bold, italic, underline, strikethrough, headings, small print, quotes, lists, code, spoilers, links and timestamps. See Embeds and Text formatting.
- Formats: start any message from a ready-made design (text only, text and image, embed, image in an embed, image only, or two embeds), with goodbye wording for the leave message. On the dashboard or with
d!welcome format <name> [join|leave|dm]. See Formats. - The image inside an embed: the welcome or goodbye image can be an embed's big picture instead of a file under the message. See Where the image goes.
- New placeholders
{timestamp}and{created_at.timestamp}for Fluxer timestamps like<t:{timestamp}:R>, and Send silently for messages without notifications.d!welcome embednow edits embed 1. Messages saved before keep their text, embed and image as they were. - New welcome image templates: thirteen designs, each made to work with short and 32-character names, emoji and other alphabets, and members without an avatar. For joins: Glass, Aurora, Poster, Neon, Ticket, Split, Polaroid, Member card, Confetti and Mono; for leaves: Farewell, Departure and Fade. The dashboard shows them in a gallery, and picking one can be undone. The first five templates' names still work in
d!welcome image template. See Templates. - More to design with: avatar rings (solid, gradient, double), shadows and black and white; text in gradients, with letter spacing, wrapping onto two lines, and badges that hug their text; ellipses, dashed lines, cut-outs and frosted glass; rotation, opacity and glow on every layer; up to 12 layers; and background effects (black and white, duotone, patterns, a vignette and film grain). Two new fonts, Archivo Black and Space Mono, and letters a font lacks are drawn in Inter, emoji in Noto Emoji. Nine new backgrounds: Nebula, Bokeh, Synthwave, Twilight, Graphite, Pastel, Confetti, Linen and Guilloche. See The welcome image.
- A better editor: zoom (fit or 100 %), snapping to edges, middles and other layers with guides, a grid, buttons to line a layer up with the card, locking, duplicating, renaming and dragging layers to reorder them, grouped properties, a font picker that shows each font, colour suggestions from the background and your recent colours, and more keyboard shortcuts. New placeholder
{date}: the day the member joined or left.
Moderation#
- Pick how messages look: each kind of moderation message has a style, under Moderation ▸ Settings ▸ How messages look (with a live preview of each) or
d!modset style. Free. See How messages look. - Replies after an action: Compact (the new default) is one line in a small embed, like
⚠️ Warned @Zane · +1 pt (3 total) · posting invites, with the case number underneath and a second line when the warning ladder stepped in. Detailed is the full embed (the reason, a warning's points, total and expiry, a timeout's length and end, whether the DM arrived, the ladder step, the case number). Text is one plain line that pings nobody. Reaction just reacts ✅ to your command; errors still reply, and it falls back to the text line when the command message is deleted. - Every action now answers in your style, including notes, locks, slowmode, purges and changed reasons, which used to reply in plain text.
- DMs to members: Compact (the new default) is two or three lines: what happened, the reason, then the case number, the appeal link and when it ends. Detailed is the full message with a heading naming the server, every number with its date, what it means for them and your appeal text. Embed is a small embed with your server's name and icon. Appeal decisions and the ladder's automatic actions follow the same style; DM members still turns DMs off.
- Mod-log posts: Detailed (the default, as before) or Compact, one line per case. Posts are still edited when their case changes.
- Custom replies (
d!modset response) work in every style: your text is the line (or, in the detailed style, the embed's text). When it has{reason}, the separate reason is left out. Show the reason works in every style too.
Auto-mod#
- Notices in the channel have a style: Compact (the new default) is the member's mention and one line, like
🛡️ Message removed · Invite links · +1 pt; Detailed is a small card with your notice text, the rule and the warning or timeout; Text is one plain line. Pick it under Auto-mod ▸ How notices look or withd!automod style. A rule's own notice text still takes the line's place, and only the member is pinged. They're posted once the rule has acted, and the rule editor previews them in your style. DMs from auto-mod's warnings, timeouts, kicks and bans use Moderation's DM style. See How notices look. - Eight new rule types: Repeated text (one character, word or phrase over and over), File spam, Link spam and Mention spam (too many in a few seconds, counted across channels), Phishing links (known scam sites, from a list Dexy keeps up to date), Spoilers, Masked links (every one, or only misleading ones) and Stickers (any, or too many at once). See More rule types.
- Rules can now post a short notice in the channel telling the member why, which deletes itself after a few seconds. Off by default; it never counts as a warning. See Notices in the channel.
- A rule can apply only in some channels or only to some roles (
d!automod only), and post its hits in a log channel of its own (log=#channel). See Where a rule applies. - New Ignored everywhere lists on the Auto-mod page (or
d!automod ignore add): channels and roles no rule checks. See Ignored everywhere. d!automod exempt's other name is nowd!automod skip, sinced!automod ignoreis the new server-wide list.
Stats#
- Auto roles are now called Activity roles, since they come and go with activity. The command is
d!activityroles(ord!activityrole), the role permission isactivityroles, the dashboard page is Stats ▸ Activity roles, and the add-on is Activity Roles Pro. Your rules didn't change. See Activity roles.
Logging#
- If a log channel's webhook can't be used (Manage Webhooks missing, too many webhooks, the server's 2FA rule, or a failure), Dexy now posts those logs as itself instead of dropping them, and switches back to the webhook once it works.
d!logs,d!diag, the setup check, Send a test and the Logging page say when a channel is posting as Dexy, and why. See How posts are sent.
2026-10-20#
Docs#
- Guides are now step-by-step walkthroughs with screenshots of the dashboard (in light and dark, click one to see it full size) and Dexy's real replies to each command.
- "In chat instead" boxes show the command for each step, and what Dexy answers.
- Every command in the command reference has a "See it in Fluxer" example.
- The Logging guide shows the post each event makes.
Logging#
- Log posts now come from a webhook named Dexy Logs that Dexy makes in each log channel, so busy servers' logs never slow Dexy down. Log channels need Manage Webhooks instead of Send Messages and Embed Links. If Dexy can't make the webhook,
d!logs,d!diag, the setup check and the Logging page say why. See How posts are sent. - Leave posts can hide the roles the member had: Roles on leave on the Logging page, or
d!logs leaveroles off. - New Logging module: event logs posted to channels you pick. Message edits and deletes, joins and leaves, bans, and role, channel, emoji, voice and server changes, in 7 categories. Each category gets a channel (or all share one), single events can be switched off, and with a channel for each event any event can post somewhere of its own.
- Off by default, and nothing is posted until you pick a channel. See Logging.
- On the dashboard, See what the posts look like under each category shows the real post every one of its events makes.
- Log posts have a new, easier-to-scan look: the member at the top, one bold line saying what happened, short facts side by side (who did it, the reason, before and after), and only IDs in the footer. Their colour now says what happened instead of which category it's in: green for something new, red for something deleted or removed, amber for a change, orange for a timeout, blue for moves. Edits show Before and After. See How a post reads.
Auto-mod#
- Auto-mod is now a module of its own, so you can run rules with or without the moderation commands.
- Rules catch spam, invite links, links, blocked words, mass mentions, capitals and more, and delete, warn, time out, kick or ban in the order you choose.
- A "try a message" box and test mode let you check a rule before it acts.
d!lockdownlocks the server in one go: every text channel, or only the lockdown channels you picked withd!modset lockdown. - See Auto-mod.
Moderation#
- New Moderation module:
d!warn,d!timeout,d!kick,d!banand more, each saved as a numbered case with its reason. - Warnings carry points that expire, and an escalation ladder can time out, kick or ban by itself.
- Cleanup and channel tools:
d!purge,d!lock,d!slowmode. - See Moderation.
Appeals#
- Members can ask for a second look at a ban, timeout or warning on the website, through a form you design. Moderators accept or reject it from the dashboard or with a reaction.
- See Appeals.
Fixes#
- Activity Roles Pro (25 rules, faster checks, permanent roles, change messages) now needs the Activity Roles Pro add-on or the bundle. Before, any other add-on unlocked it by mistake.
d!diagand the dashboard's setup check now check what Moderation, Auto-mod and Logging need while they're on (Ban, Kick and Moderate Members, Manage Messages, Manage Nicknames, Manage Roles, View Audit Log), and whether Dexy can post in the mod log, log and appeal review channels.
2026-10-19#
- Counters: the same limits now apply to commands and the dashboard, so making, deleting and renaming counter channels stays within Fluxer's limits. A command or button that has to wait says how long.
2026-10-17#
- Dexy gets its name and its default prefix,
d!. - Modules: turn features on or off per server with
d!modules. - Stats: cards, charts and leaderboards with
d!server,d!me,d!user,d!channel,d!top,d!chartand more, plus display filters, your timezone and command access settings. - Online status tracking: how many members are online, idle, on do not disturb or offline over time.
- Live counters: channels whose names show live numbers, with quick setup through
d!counter setup.
