Permissions reference

What each command and setting asks for, read from the checks in the bot's code. Administrators and the server owner pass every check. The Dexy admin role and Manage Server pass every check except Administrator ones (Manage Server only as far as the server allows). How it all fits together: Permissions.

Role areas#

Role permissions give a role parts of Dexy without Fluxer permissions. A command that names an area also works for roles with it.

Who changes which settings#

On the dashboard and in chat, these settings ask for more than the Settings area:

• Server Administrators only.

  Dexy admin role, Manage Server counts as a Dexy admin, Manage Server roles

• Dexy admins only (Administrator, the Dexy admin role, or Manage Server where it counts).

• Dexy admins, or roles with the Settings or Counters area.

  New counters go in, Category for new counters, Lock new counter channels, Default counter channel type, Counter number format

• Dexy admins, or roles with the Settings or Moderation area.
