ReferenceCommands
Welcome commands
Every Welcome command in Dexy: usage, arguments, examples, the permission it needs and its cooldown.
Join, leave and DM messages with placeholders, and welcome images you lay out yourself.
Part of the Welcome module (off by default; turning modules on and off). How it all fits together: Welcome. 🔒 commands need the permission shown, Administrator or the server's Dexy admin role (permissions).
/d!welcome#
Show how new members are welcomed: the join, leave and DM messages, their images and channels.

/d!welcome embed#
Add an embed (title, text, colour, avatar) under the join message, or take embed 1 off.
This command edits embed 1. A message can have up to five embeds, each with an author, fields, pictures, a footer and the time: add and edit them on the dashboard, or move them in and out as JSON with welcome embed json and welcome embed import.

d!welcome embed offtakes embed 1 off the join message (any others stay)
/d!welcome embed import#
Replace a message's embeds with embed JSON: pasted after the command, or attached as a .json file.
JSON from an embed builder works as it is: one embed, a list of embeds, or {"embeds": [...]} (its text, if any, replaces the message's). Pictures are links, or {avatar} and {server.icon}; attachment://welcome.png as an embed's image puts the welcome image there. Placeholders work in every text. Dexy checks Fluxer's limits and says exactly what's wrong.

/d!welcome embed json#
Show a message's embeds as JSON, to keep, share or edit in an embed builder.
The JSON is what welcome embed import reads back: the text and every embed, with {avatar}, {server.icon} and attachment://welcome.png standing for the pictures Dexy fills in. Long exports come as a .json file.

/d!welcome format#
Start a message over from a ready-made design, like an embed with the image inside or two embeds.
This replaces the message's text, embeds and where the image goes; its channel and other settings stay. Links to #rules, #roles and #chat point at your server's channels with those names. Make it your own on the dashboard afterwards.
